I can't believe THE PLUS ONE release day is finally here!
AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!The Plus One is officially out in the world and I’m feeling so many emotions. The biggest is gratitude. The excitement and love for this book has already far surpassed any hopes I had for my sweet broken babies, Indira & Jude. If you’ve had a chance to read already and have a spare second, would you mind leaving a review on Amazon (where it’s an editor’s choice for April!), Barnes & Noble, Kobo, BookBub, or anywhere else you shop for books! Reviews are incredibly important for the life and discoverability of a book in the age of algorithms, and I promise not to read what you have to say about it!
Today is also super special because one of my favorite authors (and best friend!!) also releases a book! Kaitlyn Hill and I will be celebrating the release our books tonight at Malaprop’s Bookstore in Asheville, NC! Join us in-person or virtually! To be earnest for a moment (as if I am not painfully earnest all the time on here 🤮), I am so thankful for the help of so many people that have contributed to this book existing as it does. My publishing team has been incredibly supportive, and I am so grateful to have my author friends propping me up when the going gets rough. Above all, I’m thankful to my readers. An author can’t exist without readers, and I am so humbled by the support you’ve shown not only The Plus One, but my first two novels as well. Writing is a solitary pursuit, but getting to share this joy and excitement with you means more than I could ever express.
